Why did Docutrix give an answer that isn't in my documents?

Docutrix is designed to only answer from your uploaded documents, and every answer should show at least one source. If you see an answer without a citation, flag it with the thumbs-down button so the team can investigate. If citations are missing entirely, try re-uploading the document.

What to do

  1. 1

Check the citations under the answer. Every answer should show at least one source that links back to the document and page it came from.

  2. 2

If an answer has no citation, use the thumbs-down button to flag it. This helps the team investigate.

  3. 3

If citations are missing entirely for a document, try re-uploading it.

  4. 4

If the information simply isn't in your documents, Docutrix should say so rather than invent an answer. Upload the document that contains it and ask again.
